Drain Repair
Across West Yorkshire
Collapsed pipe, displaced joint, root-cracked clay, fractured main under the drive? We diagnose with CCTV and fix permanently — no-dig lining where we can, excavation where we must. Insurance-friendly paperwork as standard.
Common drain defects we fix
Collapsed pipe
Crushed or fractured runs under drives, gardens or floors. Excavate or open-cut a single section, then reinstate.
Displaced joints
Older clay joints that have shifted. Lined or patch-repaired without digging, in most cases.
Root-cracked clay
Roots have entered through hairline cracks. Cut, line and seal — stops the cycle of repeat blockages.
Cracked & fractured runs
Long longitudinal cracks from ground movement. Full-length lining restores the pipe inside the pipe.
Failed pitch-fibre
Blistered, deformed pitch-fibre common in 60s/70s housing. Lined or replaced depending on condition.
Defective connections
Open or intruding connections that don't seat properly. Re-cut and sealed with a junction repair.
Where we cover
How a repair runs
CCTV survey
We find the defect, measure it, log distance from a chamber. No work quoted from guesswork.
Written quote
Fixed price, scope, and method (line vs patch vs excavate) — in writing, before any work starts.
Carry out the repair
Most jobs done in a single day. Larger excavations include reinstatement (block paving, concrete, tarmac).
Post-repair CCTV
We CCTV the repaired line and supply the footage — proof for you and for any insurer involved.
Domestic, commercial & insurance work

Domestic
Repeat blockages, smells, damp patches or subsidence linked to a defective drain. Most repairs are no-dig and finished in a day.

Commercial
Repairs on managed sites, retail parks, factories and care homes. Out-of-hours work to avoid disrupting trading.

Insurance
Escape of water, sewer-flooding and impact-damage claims. CCTV evidence, written reports and direct billing with most major UK insurers.

Drain repair FAQs
- Do I need to dig up my garden or drive?
- Usually no. The majority of defects we see are repaired no-dig — full-length CIPP lining, short patch liners, or robotic cutters — all through existing chambers. Excavation is a last resort and we always quote both options where possible.
- How much does drain repair cost?
- Patch repairs are typically £600–£1,400 fitted. Full-length lining is priced by metre run and pipe diameter. Excavated repairs depend on depth, surface and reinstatement. We CCTV and write a fixed quote before any work — no estimates by phone.
- Will my insurance cover it?
- Damage caused by sewer flooding, escape of water, impact, root ingress or subsidence is often covered. We supply CCTV evidence and reports loss adjusters need, and bill most major UK insurers direct.
- How long does a no-dig liner last?
- Cured-in-place liners carry a 10-year warranty from us and a design life of 50+ years. Once cured, they're a structural pipe inside the old one.
- Can you repair the bit under my house?
- Often yes — no-dig lining works through chambers without lifting floors, and patch repairs can target a single defect a few metres in. We'll only suggest lifting a floor if there's no other practical route.
- How long does the work take?
- Most domestic repairs are done in a day. Larger lining jobs are typically 1–2 days. Major excavations with surface reinstatement can be 2–4 days.
- Do you reinstate the surface afterwards?
- Yes — block paving, concrete, tarmac, turf. The quote covers reinstatement to a like-for-like standard unless you ask for an upgrade.
- Will the drain be back in use straight away?
- Patch repairs and excavations are back in use the same day. Full-length liners need a few hours to cure but are typically back in service inside 24 hours.
- How do I know the repair worked?
- Every repair finishes with a post-repair CCTV survey. You get the footage and a written report. So does your insurer if there's a claim.
- Do you guarantee the work?
- Yes — lining carries a 10-year warranty, patch repairs and excavations 12 months. Defects caused by our workmanship are put right at no charge.
